Tele-screen, Telescopic Well Liner

Standard HDPE retro drill well liner can be affected by significant residual settlement resulting in collapse and failure making gas and especially leachate extraction very difficult.

Retro Fitting

The gas shroud system provides a solid walled PE pipe which fits snugly over the well-screen. The top of the gas shroud incorporates a threaded gas extraction wellhead and lifting eyes. The shroud is clad with a robust filter membrane. This membrane protects the well screen and assists the extension process.

Protecting your gas system

Cygnet “Tele-screen” offers the facility for the well liner to telescope when stressed by landfill mass settlement. Each component of the “Tele- screen” incorporates a sacrificial pinned telescopic element which will yield under excessive pressure before damage to the well liner wall structure occurs.
